OneStep Power Solutions Inc.
Transparency Policy
Transparency is vital to independence
Solution Transparency
We believe solutions should be understandable while still protecting the innovator.
OneStep Power presents power system validation solutions to the offshore and marine industries. These solutions are:
- 1.Peer-reviewed by OneStep Power in-house specialists and industry third parties
- 2.Documented by way of detailed product descriptions available on our website
- 3.Protected by a sustainable approach to intellectual property
- 4.Demonstrated regularly at our facility in Houston TX for all interested parties
All algorithms used in the validation of power systems are available for review under a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
Pricing Transparency
We believe that the only way to remain truly independent is to provide the same pricing arrangement for everyone.
OneStep Power operates a Global Pricing Structure. This pricing, which is set and managed by our corporate offices in Houston takes into account regional risk and provides clients with solutions to optimize their return, including package deals for multi-vessel campaigns.
Benefit Transparency
We believe that knowing who benefits from a recommendation is key to understanding your risk.
Just like in the financial services industry, OneStep Power commits to disclosing when a recommendation has a potential financial benefit to us.
- We do not take commissions from recommendations of any third-party services.
- We do retail electronic solutions during times when accessing these solutions is difficult for our clients (supply chain crises).
- We do advise our clients when we believe that solutions can be performed in-house, with industry-available devices, or would be best performed by other industry professionals.
- We do encourage customers to do due diligence in order to reduce costs and prevent financial conflicts of interest.
Supporting the Industry
We believe a transparent industry is an informed industry. We provide information through blogs, social media and conferences, and follow the above disclosure guidelines.
We believe incidents are not intellectual property. We strongly support industry incident reporting schemes such as IMCA's DP Station keeping incident reporting and encourage our clients to do the same.
We believe that being in the conversation is the minimum. We attend, exhibit and sponsor DP and relevant maritime conferences globally, and actively encourage our clients and industry colleagues to debate topics and question the status quo.
